OAK AUDIO — TECHNICAL AND LEGAL SUPPORT CENTER

This document defines the legal framework, logistical procedures, and engineering terms of cooperation between the oakaudio.eu platform and its Customers.

TERMS OF SERVICE

§ 1. General Provisions and Registration Data

  1. The owner and administrator of the online store operating under the domain oakaudio.eu is: Renesans Studio dr Rafał Miedziński, ul. Bociania 55, 42-202 Częstochowa, Poland, VAT EU: PL9491693766, BDO Registration Number: 000718695

  2. OAK AUDIO designs and manufactures electroacoustic loudspeaker systems based on precise sound engineering and high-end woodworking craftsmanship. The production process relies on manual work with solid wood and natural materials, supported in key phases—such as the high-precision routing of driver and connector recesses—by CNC machining.

  3. The brand's communication and sales processes are strictly informative and peer-to-peer, based on technical consultation and verification. We deliver a measurable, repeatable result that is fully verifiable through objective technical parameters, documented anechoic response curves, and rigorous engineering specifications.

§ 2. Order Allocation Procedures and Global Payments

  1. The Seller enables the purchase of loudspeaker systems via two distinct channels:

    1. Serial Products (Current Batch Availability) – representing specific, thoroughly photographed and measured units from completed production batches available directly in the store.

    2. Custom-Engineered Products – built, configured, or personalized to individual Customer specifications.

  2. For direct order allocations initiated via the website, the contract is concluded upon electronic communication and the Seller’s formal confirmation of accepting the order for build configuration or batch allocation. Discerning listeners evaluating performance through our documented anechoic response curves and engineering specifications may bypass the physical laboratory audit.

  3. For Customers prioritizing a physical audit of the system, individual validation sessions are coordinated within the acoustic environment of our primary laboratory facility in Kamyk near Częstochowa City, Poland. The sales contract is concluded after the validation session is completed and the technical engineering specifications and brass nameplate serialization directives are finalized.

  4. To ensure secure global transactions for listeners worldwide, the Seller provides the following payment channels:

    1. Electronic payments and payment cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay) processed via the certified international payment gateway Stripe.

    2. Manual payment (Traditional SEPA / SWIFT bank transfer) – executed directly to the Seller's bank account on the basis of an issued proforma invoice.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

§ 3. Shipping Terms and Palette Logistics

  1. Due to the mass of the enclosures, the precision of the electroacoustic components, and our strict avoidance of plastics in the packaging process, OAK AUDIO products are transported exclusively in dedicated, mechanically secured wooden crates to guarantee physical integrity during transit.

  2. Delivery is executed globally via specialized freight couriers (palletized shipping) or through direct laboratory pickup by the Customer, subject to prior arrangement.

  3. The Customer is required to inspect the freight package in the presence of the courier. In the event of visible damage to the transport crate, a formal damage protocol must be drafted to initiate the freight insurance claim procedure.

RETURNS

§ 4. Returns and Custom Order Specifications

  1. For Serial Products (purchased from current batch availability), the Consumer is entitled to a standard 14-day right of withdrawal from the contract without giving any reason, counting from the day the goods are taken into possession. The Customer must return the exact unit that was the subject of the photographic documentation on the store page.

  2. In accordance with Article 38(1)(3) of the Polish Act on Consumer Rights (implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal from a distance contract DOES NOT apply to contracts where the subject of the service is a non-prefabricated item manufactured according to the consumer's specifications or serving to satisfy their individualized needs.

  3. Products featuring custom engraving on the brass nameplate (personalized serialization, dedicated listening room name) and products subjected to custom electroacoustic or cabinetry modifications at the Customer’s request are classified as personalized goods, which permanently excludes the 14-day right of withdrawal without cause.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

§ 6. Proprietary Rights and Intellectual Property Protection

  1. All content published on the oakaudio.eu website—including but not limited to engineering specifications, anechoic measurement data, technical plots, cabinetry design layouts, custom hardware configurations, photographs, text, and visual identity elements—constitutes the exclusive intellectual property of Renesans Studio dr Rafał Miedziński.

  2. The brand name OAK AUDIO, the corporate logotype, and the geometric oak tree emblem (sygnet) are legally protected trademarks. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or imitation of these marks is strictly prohibited.

  3. The loudspeaker systems, including their specific electroacoustic cross-over topology, internal enclosure geometry, and personalized brass serialization layouts, represent proprietary industrial designs and engineering assets.

  4. Visitors and Customers are granted no rights, licenses, or titles to any intellectual property material by accessing oakaudio.eu.

  5. Systematic extraction of technical data, hotlinking of measurement plots, reproduction of proprietary photographs, or duplication of enclosure geometry for commercial or unauthorized replication purposes will be met with immediate legal action under international copyright and industrial property laws.

Every data subject interacting with oakaudio.eu retains full statutory rights regarding their personal information. You have the right to:

  • Request clear access to and rectification of your personal data.

  • Request erasure of data ("right to be forgotten"), provided the information is no longer legally bound by statutory bookkeeping, corporate taxation, or product serialization requirements.

  • Request restriction of data processing or object to ongoing processing.

  • Lodge a formal complaint with a supervisory data protection authority (in Poland: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych - PUODO).

§ 12. Teleinformatic Data and Cookies Policy

  1. The oakaudio.eu website utilizes necessary technical cookies essential for standard platform functionality, including language preferences, secure checkout verification (Stripe), and user session stability.

  2. For performance evaluation, traffic analysis, and structural site optimization, this website implements integration with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. These tools process anonymized teleinformatic metrics, system response parameters, and interaction logs.

  3. Non-essential analytical cookies associated with our Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics integrations are initialized exclusively upon active and explicit consent provided by the visitor via the consent management banner on our platform.

  4. Just as we combine traditional craftsmanship with the precision of CNC machinery in our manufacturing process, we employ modern digital tools for our visual presentations. All photographs of our loudspeakers depict actual, physical Oak Audio products. The backgrounds and interior settings (e.g., in the Japandi style) are digitally generated using generative AI models. This approach allows us to present our products within natural domestic environments while optimizing operational costs, directly contributing to a product price scaled strictly on engineering value.
