Reference Studio 30 System

Our core loudspeaker architecture, where rigorous electroacoustic calculation meets uncompromising raw material selection. Every system is engineered, crafted, and measured as an interdependent pairing, delivering an absolute replication of documented laboratory performance data.

Engineering Baseline: Balanced 2-way acoustic configuration optimized for near-field and mid-field critical listening environment accuracy.

Dimensional Discipline: Enclosure boundaries are sculpted via computer-controlled machining to sub-millimeter tolerances, securing an airtight compression seal and eliminating diffraction variances.

Material Matrix: Solid wood structural elements combined with high-density local layers, entirely free from exterior synthetic compounds and structural plastics.

The Reference Studio Series

Our manufacturing workflow integrates structural electroacoustic engineering with manual timber craftsmanship. Enclosure construction utilizes solid hardwood profiles machined via computer-controlled routing at critical interfaces to secure sub-millimeter tolerances and complete cabinet stability across all serialized batches. A hand-fitted timber wedge joint, inlaid into the lower base of the solid oak front baffle, functions as the physical design identifier of Oak Audio enclosure architecture. This skated, minimalist mark serves as the singular brand signifier on the face of every system.

Reference Studio 30 — Classic Oak

A disciplined execution of European hardwood engineering, focusing on high mechanical stability and raw tonal permanence.

Baffle Architecture: Solid European oak machined in balanced horizontal or vertical lamella layouts to ground trans-baffle mechanical energy.

Preservation Polymers: Configurable in deep hand-applied pure tung oil saturated with hydrophobic beeswax (matte), or crystalline multi-layer acrylic polymer (light semi-gloss).

Interface Layout: Solid American walnut rear terminal plate fitted with heavy-duty 24k gold-plated binding posts and a serialized brushed brass nameplate.

Reference Studio 30 — Tirol Heritage

A specialized, highly restricted edition utilizing reclaimed, high-density historic softwoods for unique internal dampening characteristics.

Historical Core: Front and rear baffles are extracted from 100-year-old reclaimed Alpine Pine sourced from residential structures in Jenbach, Austria. Decades of natural seasoning have fully stabilized the timber’s cell matrix.

Surface Polarization: Sealed exclusively using multi-layer crystalline transparent acrylic lacquer to lock the raw, pale tone of the seasoned pine while reinforcing outer fibers against humidity shifts.

Acoustic Core: Side panels utilize fluid local Polish elm wave profiles layered onto a high-mass structural substrate, completely avoiding internal synthetic resonance layers.
